Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog. Today my post is on sustainability, I have written a story about a flood. I hope you enjoy it.
I wake up, the floor around my bed is all wet and from what I can see, it’s the same all in the rest of the house. I can her my Dad running around the house, I better get up otherwise he will worry about me. I brace myself for the cold water and I step into it. I run to Mia’s room to see if she’s awake yet. Phew! Her beds empty and the sheets haven’t been made so she must already be up. I try to walk as fast as I can into the kitchen where I find my Dad trying to stop more water from coming in. I run over to Mia and ask her what to do. She just shrugs so I run to the laundry, get a bucket and start helping my dad. After about 2 hours of doing this and there is only a bit of water left, Dad tells Mia and I to go back to bed, he says he can handle the rest on his own. I get back into bed, my arms are so sore. I fall asleep immediately.
